◆Chabana | Kyoto-born ‘Okonomiyaki & Teppanyaki’

Kyo Chabana Chabana began in 1976 as “Chabana.”

Starting as a small okonomiyaki shop in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto,
that spirit has been passed down, leading to “Chabana,” and then to “Kyo Chabana.”

The name and flavor, born from our Kyoto origins,
embody the feelings we have cherished over many years.

◆What is Chabana?

Chabana, a traditional okonomiyaki and teppanyaki restaurant originating in Kyoto, is a warm and homey place where you can enjoy traditional okonomiyaki and teppanyaki.

We have always cherished the time spent enjoying piping hot teppanyaki dishes while gathered around the teppanyaki tables in the dining area.

Unpretentious, relaxing, and a place where everyone can naturally smile—that atmosphere is one of Chabana’s charms.

Our signature dish, “Chabana Konomi,” is a beloved and cherished item.

Made with plenty of Kyoto Kujo green onions, the batter is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and topped with grated yam, bonito flakes, shredded nori seaweed, and egg yolk, making it a satisfying okonomiyaki.

The various textures and flavors combine to keep you entertained until the very last bite.

While cherishing traditional deliciousness, it has become a beloved taste that makes you want to come back for more.
